Russian Hockey Team’s Plane Crashes
Only two survivors
The Lokomotiv ice hockey team of Russia’s KHL was aboard a plane that crashed Wednesday morning. Former Flyers defenseman Brad McCrimmon is listed as a coach on the team, but it is not yet known if he was on the plane. The plane was carrying 45 people—37 passengers and eight crew members—and two of those people miraculously survived the crash. [Daily News]
