School Reform Commission Gets Unfavorable Welcome at Meeting
Audience less than thrilled with SRC
Philly’s boo-birds showed up in droves at today’s SRC meeting where Chairman Robert L. Archie and other members were reminded of how much the public approves of their handling of the Arlene Ackerman situation. The SRC approved her contract extension through 2014 in February and is expected to vote on and pass her dismissal—via $905,000 buyout—at this afternoon’s meeting. [Philly.com]
