Hearing on Bill to Ban Teacher Strikes
Public hearing at Neshaminy High School Thursday night
Teachers in Neshaminy’s school district would be starting their fourth year without a contract if the district’s schools open on time this fall. The teachers authorized their leaders to declare a strike back in June and little progress has been made since. Now, Neshaminy High School will host a public hearing on House Bill 1369 tomorrow evening. The proposed bill would ban teacher strikes in Pennsylvania. [Inquirer]
