NRG Energy Inc. Buys University City-Based Energy Company for $190M

Four years ago, Richard W. Vague—former head of First USA Bank—founded Energy Plus Holdings LLC. The company is a supplier of electricity and natural gas and is headquartered at the University City Science Center‘s new digs on Market Street and employs some 150 people, including students at Penn and Drexel.
