Beanie Sigel Pleads Guilty

Philly rapper admits to tax evasion

Rapper Beanie Sigel—probably known by most for a beef with mogul and icon Jay-Z—has pleaded guilty to tax evasion. The rapper didn’t file taxes from 2003-2005 and will be sentenced in November. Sigel will allegedly contest the amount he owes at his sentencing hearing at which he could be sent to prison for up to three years. The Scoop isn’t sure which is a worse crime—evading taxes for three years or dissing rap’s biggest mogul in a song after he gave you a shot at making it. [Inquirer]
