Millionaire Tom Knox Will Not Run For Mayor
Knox changed his party affiliation and made the announcement today
Tom Knox, a former health care executive, announced that he will not run against Mayor Michael Nutter in November’s election. Knox also switched his party affiliation back to Democrat—he had originally changed it in case Nutter lost the primary—and said that he intends to run for governor in a few years. Governor Tom Corbett is up for re-election in 2014. The Scoop wonders if Corbett and company will have agreed on the 2012 budget by then. [6 ABC]
