Lancaster Adoption Agency Scam?

Five couples from Illinois, Louisiana and Minnesota are suing Main Street Adoption Agency, based in Lancaster, for using a bait-and-switch scheme to scam them out of up to $25,000 each. Each couple paid thousands of dollars to adopt a child from Guatemala—some even met their potential new family member—before the agency yanked the deal off the table.
