McDonald’s is in the news after announcing they’re looking to hire 50,000 employees. Now, the Philadelphia Business Journal reports that there will be one-day job fairs in our region this month and that the chain could boost employment by more than 1,000 jobs here. According to the career section on the McDonald’s website, benefits include a free uniform and medical insurance. Note that both of these have asterisks next to them.
