What to queue up in Netflix
Rent It: Clash of the Titans (PG-13, 2010). The new film does have better special effects. But I’d choose the creepy, claymation Medusa over the new video-game version any day. My Grade: C
Queue It: The Conversation (PG, 1974). Gene Hackman—in a tour-de-force performance—plays Harry Caul, a sweaty, raincoat-wearing surveillance expert, who gets caught up in his case. If you haven’t seen this Francis Ford Coppola paranoia classic, queue it now! My Grade: A
