Home: Homefront: Shop Philly 24/7

Five of our favorite local home shops have very lovable websites.

Piccolinionline.com: We love, love, love this site for colorful kids’ toys, linens and furnishings (like this Bloom high chair), weekly promotions, simple-to-arrange home delivery—and an instant-messaging feature that links you to an in-house consultant who knows just what your three-year-old niece wants for her birthday.

Matthewizzo.com: The words “free shipping” should be enough to make you bookmark this site—especially when the items arriving on your doorstep are the bedroom-perfect Desiron Chelsea dresser, right, and sleek-yet-comfy Matthew Izzo chairs.

Ashtonwhyte.com: Free gift wrap and convenient shipping for John Matouk’s supersoft linens, Match’s pretty salt-and-pepper caddy, above, and Pine Cone Hill’s comfy pj’s make sending a housewarming gift from this shelter shop to your friend in California a snap.

Usonahome.com: Since almost everything at this Center City shop is custom, you can’t officially shop Usona online. But you can check out nearly 5,000 pieces of furniture, make a “wish list,” submit questions about specs and prices, and, best of all, browse for up-to-40-percent-off deals on floor models.

Shopfosters.com: Mod, redesigned and comprehensive — just like the shop’s new location at 399 Market Street — this site keeps current with Foster’s famous Iittala dishes, Bodum teapots and colorful Mario Batali cookware, above. Other cool functions include a gift registry and coupons for in-store shopping.
