Five Fabulous Gay Fall Fashion Finds for $70 Or Less (Guy Edition)

Okay, we admit it: our 2014 summer fashion photo shoot was a lot of fun, but when it came to the price tags of the clothes, the vast majority of our readers couldn’t even think about purchasing anything we featured. Now that things have taken a dramatic turn for the cool, I wanted to feature some fun seasonally-appropriate clothing that can be purchased locally and that won’t require that you break open your piggy bank.

This Fall transitional period is a great time to stock up on some basics, and my picks below can all be found either in Center City or a quick trip to either Cherry Hill Mall or King of Prussia. Ultra Light Down Compact Jacket, Uniqlo

We're loving the fact that Uniqlo will be in our backyard in a few weeks on Chestnut Street, followed by locations at the Cherry Hill Mall and Willow Grow Park (and if you're in a hurry, it is already open at King of Prussia). This ultra light down jacket that comes in a plethora of colors is the perfect extra layer to throw on when you're in a hurry. And at $69.90, the price is beyond right. Slim Sweatpant, J. Crew

Okay, I'll admit: I made a ton of fun of the revival of the sweatpant when I first saw it creep onto store mannequins. However, after trying on these awesome J. Crew slim sweatpants, I fell in love. These aren't your elementary school gym day pants; the slim cut is really flattering, and with a polo and a pair of Chucks, you can totally rock these outside of laundry day. The canvas oxford is making a huge appearance this Fall, and I just love these from Urban Outfitters. They are exclusive to the store, and the price can't be beat: $48.00! Banana Republic

Straight-Fit Dark Wash Jeans, Banana Republic

A nice pair of straight-fit dark denim is a must in any guy's wardrobe this season, but finding a good jean is really hard. Banana Republic, a trusty staple for years, has a great dark wash version that fits like a charm. They wash super well (I own a pair) and can be dressed up with a sweater, shirt, and tie, or dressed down for the weekend. They barely make the cut at $70.00, but watch for weekly specials (right now as I'm typing this, they are running a one-day 40% off special on their website). Who doesn't love a good graphic t-shirt? This year, the collection at Nordstrom is off-the-hook, and I just adore this Sunday Funday one. The manufacturer, Kid Dangerous, makes super high-quality shreds, and at $36.00, you'll have a few bucks left over to grab a few drinks on your own Sunday Funday.
