Philly Wine Week’s Opening Corks Party Has a New Home
The sixth annual celebration of all things wine kicks off on March 31st.
The city’s annual celebration of all things vino returns next month. The sixth Philly Wine Week kicks off on Sunday, March 31st with their blowout Opening Corks party, taking place this year at the newly restored XIX at the Bellevue.
Opening Corks celebration of wine and food from some of Philly’s best chefs. The party features sips of more than 100 wines and food from restaurants like Good King Tavern, Barbuzzo, Veda, Hungry Pigeon, and more. A portion of the proceeds from Opening Corks ticket sales will be donated to Broad Street Ministry, this year’s charity partner.
Tickets for Opening Corks are $65 for general admission and $125 for VIP, which get you into the event an hour early plus access to a sparkling wine bar, a raw bar, hors d’oeuvres from Walnut Street Cafe and XIX, and additional bites from guest chefs in the event’s semi-private lounge. Wine industry professionals can email info@phillywineweek.org with the name of their employer to receive a discount code to purchase $40 industry tickets.
Opening Corks tends to sell out, so it’s a good idea to get your tickets early. Check out the full schedule of Philly Wine Week events here and see the full list of participating venues here.
