Yards Is Throwing a Big Ol’ Best of Philly Party at Its New Brewery
And you're invited.
In this year’s Best of Philly, Yards Brewing Company got named by the people as Best Local Brewery, and by our editorial staff as Best Brewpub. Hell, they even got the cover with a can of their Best Of Philly lager.
And now, founder Tom Kehoe and his crew are celebrating their big year with a big party at the Yards warehouse down on Spring Garden Street. From 6 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 9th, bartenders at the Yards Brewpub will be giving everyone their first can of beer for free, along with a party-exclusive koozie to keep it cold.
Then, at 7 p.m. (and for the first time ever), Yards will be opening up their warehouse to the public for a free party and concert among the kegs and cans, featuring an all-Philly lineup of TJ Kong & the Atomic Bomb, Hardwork Movement and Marah, additional service bars (pouring Brawler, Philadelphia Pale Ale and Best of Philly Lager), food in the brewpub, copies of the new Best of Philly issue, and plenty of fun for everyone.
Party starts at 6pm and goes until 11pm. Check out the Facebook event page for more details.
