The Rent Got “Too Damn High” for Dos Rosas in Old City

Dos Rosas at 7 North 3rd Street in Old City has closed.
Chef-owner Michael O’Halloran posted a note on the door of the BYOB taqueria, citing a rent increase as the reason for the closure. The restaurant is currently looking to reopen in another space in the neighborhood.

Before a temporary pop-up concept became permanent last summer, O’Halloran operated Bistro 7, a French-inspired BYO, in the space for more than a decade.
