Junior’s Beef & Pork Is Now Open on East Passyunk
The Wildwood staple is finally bringing a taste of South Philly to, well, South Philly.

East Passyunk Avenue will finally get the sandwich shop it’s been missing when Junior’s Beef & Pork finally opens today at 11 a.m.
South Philly native and owner Geno DeJesse said that they’ve kept the menu almost identical to that of their first shop in Wildwood — roast beef, roast pork, meatballs, sausage, and salads — with a few key additions. The South Philly Junior’s will offer a veggie sandwich as well as a chicken cutlet option, too.
For now, the East Passyunk shop will be open from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. seven days a week; once they get a feel for the neighborhood, DeJesse said, they’ll choose one day to close and operate six days a week.
