At Last, East Passyunk Has Its Own Bagel Shop
An offshoot of the iconic South Street Philly Bagels opens tomorrow on the strip.

At long last, East Passyunk has a place to get hot, fresh bagels — a void that persisted for far too long.
Passyunk Avenue Philly Bagels — from fifth-generation bagel maker Aaron Wagner, owner of South Street Philly Bagels and its offshoots on Chestnut Street and Fitzwater Street – will open at 6:30 a.m. on Friday, January 19th at 1742 East Passyunk Avenue.

The shop will be open weekdays with bagels, cream cheese, sandwiches, and treats like pizza bagels and bagel dogs from 6:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. on weekends.
