Saige Coffee House Is Coming to Schmidt’s Commons
The local chain is expanding into Northern Liberties.

Schmidt’s Commons (a.k.a. The Piazza) is getting another coffee shop. Saige Coffee House will take up residence at 1001 North 2nd Street, Suite 9, formerly inhabited by Euphoria Cafe.
Saige will serve coffee from Red House Roasters in Union City, New Jersey, including cold brew on tap and nitro. Foodwise, they’ll offer sandwiches, salads, and smoothies.
Owner and CEO Ehsan Wahdat is looking at a February 2018 opening for the 1,400 square foot space, which will seat 35 inside plus additional outdoor seating when the weather warms up.
The locally-based chain also has locations in Spring Garden and Temple University in Philly and in Jackson and Tom’s River, New Jersey, with plans to expand into Old City, Center City, and North Jersey in the near future.
