Kensington Quarters Is Turning Its Second Floor into a Pop-Up Wine Bar

They're popping corks upstairs at KQ this Saturday, December 16th.

Sure, we joke about how the holiday hustle is easier to handle with a stiff drink in hand. But there’s something to be said for making sure that you’re allowing yourself to have a little fun amid the shopping, the decorating, the office parties, the travel, and all the other work behind the holiday magic.

Luckily, the good folks at Kensington Quarters are giving us all the chance to treat ourselves. They’re turning their spacious upstairs bar into a wine bar this Saturday. It’s the perfect opportunity to wine down for an evening with some unique vintages by the glass.

And KQ’s wine list is curated by their general manager and wine director, Tim Kweeder, 2017’s best wine guy in the city — so you know these bottles are going to be good. In fact, most of the wines they’ll pour on Saturday have never been served by the glass in Philly before. If rare vino isn’t a reason to blow off whatever else you had planned, we don’t know what is.

The Olde Kensington Wine Bar Pop-Up goes from 9 p.m. until midnight this Saturday, December 16th.
