Craftsman Row Saloon Is Hosting a Burger and Shake Eating Competition
To celebrate two years in business, they're giving you the chance to win a free burger and shake every month for a year.
Craftsman Row Saloon, the Jeweler’s Row bar by Opa owners George and Vasiliki Tsiouris, is celebrating its second birthday. And their now-annual burger and shake competition is making a comeback.
The competition takes place this Saturday, December 2nd at 1 p.m. Send an email with the subject “Burger Competition” to info@craftsmanrowsaloon.com with your name and phone number and pay $20 (which will be donated to Philabundance) to enter. Only 24 contestants will be admitted.
But these aren’t your usual burgers and shakes. Contestants will have to consume the Birthday Burger, a multi-patty bacon cheeseburger, plus an outsized Brotherly Love Shake. That’s a vanilla shake made with a Tastykake Kandy Kake, a cupcake, a Peanut Chew, an Amish pretzel, and whipped cream. The contestant who can eat both the fastest will win one of each of these decadent treats each month for a year.
And on Monday, December 4th, the celebration continues with $2 deals and giveaways all day. That’s $2 for select draft beers and whiskey shots, plus $2 bites like their brisket mac ‘n’ cheese shooter, cauliflower buffalo wings, chili chip nachos, and chicken croquettes.
Craftsman Row is open from 11 a.m. until 2 a.m., with the kitchen closing at midnight.
