South Philly SausageFest Returns to West Passyunk

Whether you call it West Passyunk or Newbold, the neighborhood west of Broad between Washington and Snyder Avenues — East Point Breeze, maybe? — has a strong, emerging, restaurant community. And they’re coming together with a slew of craft breweries to raise funds for a neighborhood cleaning program with the third annual South Philly SausageFest.

This Saturday, September 30th, help the nonprofit Newbold Community Development Corporation raise funds for their street cleaning program, which not only helps keep the area looking sharp but also provides employment for 10 disabled neighborhood residents.

The party brings together breweries from around South Philly and the region, neighborhood restaurants, live bands, arts and crafts vendors, kids’ activities, and more. It goes down on West Passyunk Avenue between Broad and 15th Streets on Saturday from noon until 8 p.m. Check out the participating brewers and restaurants below and see all the fun stuff that will be going on here.
