Honeygrow Opens in King of Prussia
Today, Honeygrow opened its seventh Philadelphia area store–its thirteenth location overall at King of Prussia Town Center. The new location of this Philadelphia startup will feature locally and seasonally sourced ingredients including custom-made noodles by ramen chefs, house-made dressings and sauces and proteins sourced from providers such as FreeBird and Common Market.
“We had a great opportunity to uniquely enter the market outside of the traditional mall setting, while having the opportunity to co-tenant with one of my favorite brands—REI,” said Founder and CEO Justin Rosenberg. “I’m a hiking nerd and with the launch of hgAthletics, honeygrow’s platform supporting customer wellbeing and athletic activities for all, it’s pretty exciting to be working with each other.”
The menu of the new location features the usual suspects–signature salads such as the Pear-anormal (organic baby spinach, red quinoa, pears, roasted carrots, cranberries, roasted cashews, cider herb vinaigrette) and stir-frys including the regional favorite Philly Roast Pork.
And the restaurant operates like other Honeygrow locations; you walk up to a touch screen and select and customize a signature salad, stir-fry or honey bar, or you create your own. The local component of the restaurant is evident in the custom artwork by Billy Cress, a fine art Philadelphia photographer.
Honeygrow’s steady pace of openings keeps it on top of Foobooz Fast-Casual Tracker, despite the addition of a couple of new concepts.
