Spread Bagelry Opens in University City
The Montreal Bagel eatery expands in a big way.

Spread Bagelry, the Rittenhouse neighborhood Montreal bagel spot has opened its second location, this one at 36th and Chestnut in University City. But this is no reproduction of the original. Instead, there will be a bar in the space as well (the liquor license transfer isn’t complete yet).
In addition to the beer, wine and cocktails, Larry Rosenblum’s University City location offers a more substantial menu with bagel sandwiches plus other dishes like everything bagel crusted chicken.
And just as exciting for many, Spread serves La Colombe Draft Latte and Pure Black on tap.
