Stargazy Is Turning One
Stargazy, Sam Jacobson’s amazing British pie shop, is turning one year old. And this Saturday, they’re celebrating by turning the place over to friend of Foobooz and man-about-town, Fidel Gastro.
What could possibly go wrong?
Two things that are important about this. One: Stargazy is already great and you should really take any excuse you can get to go there and eat yourself stupid.
And two: Senor Gastro will be doing a guest pie stuffed with green chile stew to mark the occasion, and he is one of the few culinary gentlemen in this town who actually knows what he’s talking about when he says he’s going to make some green chile. Plus, it being Hatch chile season can only help. I don’t know precisely what he’s going to be doing, but I am confident that it will be worth trying.
Anyway, the fun happens this weekend, on Saturday, August 20. And you should really stop by to check it out.
