Iron Hill Latest Location To Open with Beer Garden

On Tuesday, August 2nd, Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant will open its 12th location in the region. The Huntingdon Valley location will be the first to house a beer garden. The outdoor bar and patio will have seating for 40 at communal tables. There will also be Adirondack chairs around the patio. The beer garden won’t be open when the doors officially open Tuesday at 5 p.m., but should open in the first half of August.

Doug Marchakitus is the head brewer. Marchakitus has spent the last three years at Iron Hill North Wales. In addition to the six Iron Hill house beers, Iron Hill Huntingdon Valley will open with some of the brewery’s most award-winning beers, including Bedotter, Crusher and Mahalo Apollo. Marchakitus will also be debuting Hopicana, an IPA brewed with Chinook hops and infused with orange zest.
