Jose Pistola’s Hosting Pokémon Go Poké Walk

Joe Gunn is crazy for Pokemon

This evening Jose Pistola’s owner Joe Gunn and Pokémon Go fanatic is hosting the first meeting of the Pistola’s Go Club. Gunn has gone crazy for Pokémon and will be leading a walk from Pistola’s down to Spruce Street Harbor Park. Along the way, adult beverages may be consumed at Pokémon rich stops along the way.

The “meeting” begins at 6 p.m. with beer, tacos and chef Adan Trinidad’s poke specials. Then the assembled will head out on a quest to capture as many Pokémon as possible. Trinidad is offering two poke dishes for the evening:

Tuna Poke
Sea weed / lime / Thai chile / soy / yuzu / furakaki / sushi rice

Salmon Poke
Aji amarillo aioli / red onion / jalapeños / lime juice / jersey corn / sushi rice

So if you’re gripped by the twin pok´ phenomena that have hit the city, head to Pistola’s and capture a bit of both.
