Bud & Marilyn’s Celebrates Christmas in July with a Smörgåsbord
When I hosted our Christmas in July Open Stove competition at Cook a couple of weeks ago, one of the most pleasant things about it was how relaxing it was to enjoy the Christmas carols without the looming stress of the holidays. It’s the kind of thing that makes a Christmas in July special fun.
And that’s the spirit behind Bud & Marilyn’s Christmas in July Smörgåsbord complete with Christmas beers. Available today, Monday, July 18th and Tuesday, July 19th, the retro restaurant of Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran are turning out of meatballs, cheese and crackers, crab croquettes, clam canapes and deviled eggs. The smörgåsbord is $25 and as the photo above shows, contains a menagerie of food.
In addition to those throwback holiday dishes, Bud & Marilyn’s will also be pouring Great Lakes Christmas Ale and Tröegs Mad Elf.
