Manco & Manco’s Is Moving into the Old Strand Theatre in Ocean City
The owners of Manco & Manco Pizza may still be waiting sentencing on their federal tax evasion case, but business continues to boom.
Yesterday, Manco & Manco announced it was moving its 9th Street location, on the Ocean City boardwalk, into the storefront of the old Strand movie theater.
The Facebook posting promised more seating, “a boutique retail store and more” at the new location. Frank and Kay Manco opened the first location of the pizza shop formerly known as Mack & Manco in 1956 at 918 Boardwalk. There are now also additional locations at 8th Street, 12th Street and on the mainland in Somers Point.
The Strand Theatre opened in 1938 and closed in 2014. For the past two years, Boardwalk Bounce has been in the old theater spot. The new Manco & Manco will open in April 2017.
