Quick Bites: New Hai Street, Little Baby’s in DC, The Oval Returns
Hai Street Kitchen opens its newest location today. The sushi roll fast-serve spot is now serving in the food court at the Shops of Liberty Place. This is Hai Street’s third Philadelphia location. There are also two locations in New York and a food truck roaming Philadelphia.
In other Philadelphia concepts branching out, Little Baby’s Ice Cream has a pop-up in Washington D.C. On Sundays. Washingtonians can get Little Baby’s unusual brand of ice cream on Sundays from 11am to 8pm in the Trickling Springs Creamery booth at Union Market.
“The Park on the Parkway,” the Oval Returns on July 15th and runs through August 21st. A beer garden will run daily, Wednesday through Sunday. The pop-up will also feature live music, movie nights, performances and a rotating lineup of food trucks. Look for special events to take place during the Democratic National Convention in July.
This past weekend was the end for Josh Lawler’s BYOB, the Farm and Fisherman. Lawler’s the Farm and Fisherman Tavern & Market remains in Cherry Hill and he promises he is looking for a bigger location in the city.
