Kaufman’s Deli Looks Closed
On Friday a sign said that Kaufman’s Deli at 19th and Ranstead was closed due to mechanical issues. On Monday evening the sign was larger, stating the successor to Famous 4th Street Deli was closed for a private party. Inside the bags of rolls spotted on Friday remained on a table beside the door.
A phone call revealed a disconnected number. It doesn’t look good for the deli which recently began pushing BYOB dinners and smaller sandwich options.
