Try Some Jersey Wines in Haddonfield This Saturday
Alcohol in Haddonfield? Yep. This Saturday, February 20th from 1-4 p.m., the “dry” New Jersey town is having their Haddonfield Uncorked event. At merchants throughout town, visitors can enjoy samples from several South Jersey wineries.
While Haddonfield is a “dry” town, a 2014 Alcohol Management Plan for Retail Outlets allows this chance to sample and buy South Jersey wines. This is the third “Haddonfield Uncorked” since it was introduced in 2015, and considering how popular the last two were, there’s probably plenty more to come.
If you want to join in on this fun, here are the merchants and wineries participating:
On Haddon Avenue, stop at Hooked Fine Yarn & Boutique to sample some wine from Sharrott Winery and then pop over to Jersey Java & Tea to try Auburn Road wine.
On Kings Court, Summit City Farms & Winery will be at Marie’s Sandwich Bar and DiMatteo Winery will join Sweet T’s Bakeshop.
On Kings Highway East, try the wine from Belleview Winery at Da Soli, Chestnut Run Farm at Raks Thrift Avenue, Natali Vineyards at The Picket Fence & Garden Tea Room, and Hawk Haven Vineyard & Winery at Zaffron. Also, on Tanner Street, Coda Rossa Winery will be at Hugh’s Clock Shop.
It looks like Saturday is going to be a beautiful day, but in the event of rain or snow, Haddonfield Uncorked will be on Sunday, February 21st from 1-4 p.m.
