Smoked mushroom tacos at Revolution Taco

Revolution Taco celebrates its grand opening today with two hours of free tacos, both from noon to 1 p.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m. Besides that though, they’ll be serving their opening menu which of course includes tacos plus burritos, empanadas and chips. The menu has plenty of options for gluten-free diners and a two vegetarian tacos (smoked mushroom and fried tofu) and a spinach and fontina empanada.

The most interesting item on the menu is probably the roast duck. That taco is served in a scallion pancake shell with plum barbecue sauce, ginger cabbage slaw, pickled oyster mushrooms and sesame.

For now Revolution Taco is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
