Now Open: Buckminster’s, Little Bird Bakery and Sabrina’s in Collingswood
Buckminster’s, The Little Bird Bakery and Cafe and Sabrina’s Cafe – Collingswood are all now open. Buckminster’s opened to a packed house last night, after an even more packed Saturday night preview party. You can check out the menu here but also worth noting, tap wine by the glass tops out at $7.50, the house gin-and-tonic is$5.50 and there’s even a sub-five dollar draft beer (Neshaminy Creek Cream Ale) on the list. It’s always nice to see a drink list with some value to it.
Today is the opening day for Jessica Nolen’s new bakery at 5th and Gaskill Streets, The Little Bird. Stop by for fresh baked croissants, muffins, pretzels and treats. Nolen is Jeremy Nolen’s (Whetstone and Brauhaus Schmitz) wife and also handles the baking for those restaurants. Get in soon to pre-order holiday pies, cakes and sweets.
Sabrina’s opens its fifth location today and its first outside of Pennsylvania. The newest brunch destination is at 714 Haddon Avenue in Collingswood, NJ, the former Woolworth’s five-and-dime in town. Hours are Sunday through Thursday: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
