Chef Rob Marzinsky Pops Up at Little Fish
Last February, Chef Rob Marzinsky, formerly of Fitler Dining Room hosted a pop-up dinner before jetting off to Australia, Thailand and Vietnam. Well now he’s back and he’s taking what he learned abroad with chef Ben Shewry to host a second pop-up.
Marzinsky is teaming up with chef and former co-worker, Palmer Marinelli to host the lunch and dinner pop-up, DemoTapes2 at Little Fish. The pop-up will run from Thursday, August 13th through Sunday, August 16th.
Lunch is curry bowls. Each day will feature a new Thai curry which can be ordered with or without meat. You can enjoy your bowl from 11:30-3 pm in the restaurant or for take away. Curry options include southern Thai green curry, Massaman curry, Highland Jungle curry and Thai-Muslin yellow curry. A bowl will run you $10, rice included.
Dinner is a five-course, $40 set menu. Service runs from 6:30-9:30 pm and features music from a mix put together by Marzinsky’s friend Ian Chapin. No details on the music yet, but the menu is as follows:

Mackerel with chili, cream cheese and mint curry
Second
Grilled Onion served tsunomono style with Sprout Creek Madeleine
Third
Cucumber with tomato salad, borage and peanuts
Fourth
Bac Ninh Slop Pot with wax beans, romano beans, dutch peas, soy, corn, vinegared Wyebrook pork, rau thom and spicy chow chow
Dessert
Corn Cake with peach pudding and herb sorbet
