Take A Road Trip Without Leaving Philly
Two different restaurants are traveling to two different American regions tomorrow Wednesday, July 22. Twenty Manning Grill is doing a Seattle inspired menu and Heirloom is going south to Louisiana.
We’ve got the details on menus and pricing.
Twenty Manning’s Seattle special includes two courses and a drink for $25. They’re offering a smoked salmon crab rangoon for the first course. Then, for round two, a lamb burger with gruyere, baby arugula, good pickle and string fries. The drink is Milbrandt Pinot Gris. This dinner runs from 5-7pm. Maybe eating early is also a Seattle thing?
Heirloom’s three courses will run you $25 as well. It’s a price fixed menu, but you get to choose between two entrees. Start with pickled white shrimp with esplette remoulade and Mirliton slaw. Then, for the main course, they’re offering a blackened redfish with crawfish fricassee and potatoes OR a smoked Vermilionville pork served with jambalaya. Dessert is a molasses and bourbon pecan pie.
