Brick And Mortar Launching Brunch This Sunday
Some brunch news for you today: Chef Brian Ricci has announced that Brick and Mortar, barely over a month into service, is launching Sunday brunch. Need a little push to get to the spot just north of Chinatown? They’re planning on serving icy granitas, which sound like a perfect hot Sunday cure. Take a look at some of the menu sneak peeks after the jump.
The menu is expected to include mains like:
Ricotta Pancakes
Cured Salmon Plate with traditional trimmings
Pork Belly Sandwich
Eggs with toast (with housemade cultured butter)
Omelet with toast (and more of that cultured butter)
Yogurt with house-made traditional honey granola
And sides like:
Bacon Rashers
Made-in-house breakfast sausages
Spanish-style home fries
Toasts with various cultured butter
Speaking of cultured butter, Ricci is working on versions with whipped sea salt, as well as berbere spice and lemon butter. He’s also planning on oyster shooters (both East and West coast varieties, shucked to order) served with multiple mignonettes. Sound good? Give them a shot 11 am – 3 pm, starting this Sunday.
