Dine to Donate to Puentes de Salud
Plates for Puentes on June 11th, 2015.
Thursday, June 11th is Plates for Puentes, a fundraising event for Puentes de Salud; the organization dedicated to assisting Philadelphia’s Latino immigrant community through health care opportunities, and by working to remove language barriers that prevent full understanding of the systems in place in the city.
A portion of each check at participating restaurants will be donated to Puentes de Salud.
For many employees in the restaurant world of Philadelphia, Puentes de Salud is an invaluable resource, which is why Michael Schulson, Stephen Starr, Audrey Claire Taichman, Rob Wasserman, and Peter Woolsey have partnered with the organization to support the newly opened clinic and wellness center at 17th and South Streets.
