What You’ll Be Eating at This Year’s Winterfest

We already told you the news that this year’s Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest has chosen November 28 as its opening day. We also knew that the organizers were looking at sprucing things up this year to make the whole experience even cooler than it was last winter. But we didn’t know a lot of the details of what they were planning.

Until now.

We now know that The Lodge at Winterfest has been completely revamped, with Garces Events in charge of the food and chef Adam DeLosso in charge of day-to-day operations. There’s going to be a new Fireside Cafe this year, set up near the fire pits and next to the giant Christmas tree, which will be offering hot drinks (of both the boozy and non-boozy variety) as well as desserts (including make-your-own peanut butter s’mores kits, which is kind of awesome). Garces’s Distrito taco truck will also be on-site throughout the season for those who can’t imagine ice skating without tacos.

But the big news, at least for single-minded obsessives like us, is the re-made menu for this year’s Winterfest season. The Lodge has carried over some of the successful dishes from the Spruce Street Harbor Park, but has also added a few things more appropriate to the season. And the good news? We just happen to have all the menus right here.
