This Week: Manita Burrito Takeover At Mugshots

Mugshots Coffeehouse is hosting another Manita Burrito takeover this week. Running Thursday through Saturday, it’ll offer everything you need, from cervezas, burritos and tacos to hot cocoa and desserts.

From 5:30-9 p.m., chef Michael O’Halloran of Bistro 7 will be running the pop-up, cooking his Mexican street-style foods with locally-sourced ingredients, tons of vegetables and Manita Burrito’s favorite ingredient, freekeh–an ancient Middle Eastern grain (pictured above). He’s still looking for a brick-and-mortar location for his Manita Burrito concept but, in the meantime, head over to Mugshots for a taste.

Hit up Mugshots every weekend in November for the kitchen takeover, from 5:30 – 9 p.m. on Thursday-Saturday, and from 5-8:30 p.m. on Sundays.
