Today: City Tavern Reopens Following Fire…But That’s Not All

To celebrate the City Tavern‘s reopening today, after the restaurant was closed down due to a fire , guest General George Washington will be meeting diners at 4 p.m. So, you know, if you’re creeped out by costumed actors, historical re-enactors or Colonial era hairstyles, you’ve been warned.

The restaurant will be open for business and re-start service of their 18th century cuisine starting at 11:30 a.m. today
