Peek Inside Whiskey Fest

It seems superfluous to come up with more programming than the obvious “drink whiskey and other spirits” for Philadelphia magazine’s Whiskey Festival & Fine Spirits Festival, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t more to the event that’s coming up on Thursday, October 23rd at Lincoln Financial Field.

This year, the Woodford Reserve Manhattan Experience returns and local bartenders will compete to win the Manhattan making competition. Dad’s Hat Straight Rye Whiskey will be available for tasting and purchase. It’s the first Straight Rye Whiskey distilled, aged and bottled in Pennsylvania in twenty-five years. and Jim Beam will be offering the chance to get your face on a bottle.

Purchase a VIP ticket and not only can you get in early, but you might be lucky enough to score a taste of Pappy Van Winkle or one of dozens of other special spirits being offered during the VIP session.
