REX 1516’s Burger Series for October
REX 1516’s Citywide Special Burger Series has been a big success and the South Street restaurant has just announced its upcoming participants.
Today, FOX 29’s Good Day co-hosts Mike Jerrick and Alex Holley have collaborated to create the AM (Alex and Mike) Burger. It’s topped with Maglio breakfast sausage, cheddar cheese and finished with a fried egg.

- 10/7: Joe Groh, Joe’s Steaks + Soda Shop
- 10/14: Marc Summers, Philadelphia foodie and game show host
- 10/21: Drew Lazor, Food Writer
- 10/28: Dave Feola, Vernick Food + Drink
The burger deal is offered every Tuesday night (Wednesday too, if it doesn’t sell out) and for $15, includes the burger, fries, a shot of Buffalo Trace and a pint of Philadelphia Brewing Company’s Newbold IPA.
Now, will anyone be able to create a burger as good as my “Welsh Medium Rarebit?” Doubtful.
