Franklin Flea’s Summer Market Food Lineup

The Franklin Flea Summer Market is happening this Saturday, August 16th, and it’ll be full of vintage pieces, music, and food. Oh so much food. In fact, this month’s event is the largest one yet, when it comes to the food.

We just got the lineup of the 13 vendors that will be satisfying your cravings and we’re not sure where to start. Maybe with the Watermelon-Basil Lemonade? Or the Pork Tacos with Pineapple Salsa? Perhaps the S’mores Cups and Chocolate Cupcakes with Strawberry Cheesecake baked in the center? The list goes on, so be sure to stop by between 10am – 5pm and enjoy all of the market’s offerings.

Franklin Flea Market will be located at the McCall Schoolyard in Society Hill. (325 S. 7th Street between Spruce and Pine Streets).

Luke’s Lobster – Buttery shrimp, crab, and lobster rolls
Hocks N Coqs – Made-to-order South Philly Style Pulled Pork or Chicken sandwiches with spinach/broccoli rabe, preserved garlic, pickled roasted long hots and sharp provolone
Poi Dog Philly – Mochi Nori Chicken battered in rice flour and furikake dressed with togarashi-yuzu mayo and pickled red cabbage; Kalua Pork Tacos dressed with pineapple salsa
Mobile Awesome – Chicken pita with herbed yogurt and pickled onions; Oak smoked hot dogs; Soy chorizo taco (vegetarian) with with sweet potato and cabbage
Heart Food Truck – Short rib hash and eggs; Blue cheese sandwich with peach and apricot jam; Smoked Salmon Sandwich
Seoulfull Philly – Deep fried corn with gochujang (Korean chili pepper paste) crema, cotija cheese, scallions and toasted sesame seeds; Korean style Philly Cheesesteak

Milk + Sugar – Featuring a special chocolate cupcake with strawberry cheesecake baked into the center topped with vanilla cream cheese frosting and balsamic strawberries; S’more cups; other regularly delicious cookies and cupcakes.
