Jake’s Sandwich Board, which has been open at 12th and Sansom for four years is getting a facelift with the help of Eimer Design. The sandwich shop will be closed now till through Monday, August 11th to make the changes. When Jake’s reopens on Tuesday, August 12th, Jake’s will have a new look, roasting ovens, carving station and expanded hours that will include evening-only pig, brisket and turkey roasts.

To celebrate the renovation as well as Jake’s anniversary, on Tuesday, August 12th, $3 sandwiches will be available all day. And with every $3 sandwich purchased, diners will also be able to enjoy a complimentary Sly Fox Route 113 IPA.

After 5 p.m., customers are also invited to BYOB for the first time, as Jake’s will expand from a sandwich shop into a laid-back BYOB restaurant and cafe.

This fall, Jake’s Sandwich Board will be opening a second location in University City.
