Guide to Philly Wine Week


Philadelphia’s first ever Wine Week is set to begin this Sunday, March 23rd. The eight day affair promises seasoned cork dorks and enthusiastic novices exciting events at a wide range of budgets.

Here are some of the highlights:

Sunday, March 23

Opening Event: Bubbles and Barrels at Panorama
The $40 ticket gets you into the tasting event. Special guest hosts are master sommeliers Laura Williamson and Wayne Belding. Get your tickets now.

High Street on Market: Ravines Cellars, Finger Lakes, NY
See what Eli Kulp has in store when he pairs his food with this New York winery.

Monday, March 24

Brauhaus Schmitz: “What Not To Pair” with Marnie Old
For chefs and restaurant professionals. Move beyond ‘white with fish, red with meat’ and learn to pair like a pro.

Alla Spina: Meet the Winemaker Happy Hour with Kevin Robinson of Karamoor Estate Wines, Ft Washington, PA
Pay as you go ($5 wines, samples of unreleased vintage).

Tuesday, March 25

Tria Rittenhouse and Washington Square: 10 year Tuesday
Decade-old wines for $10 each.

Osteria: Cheese & Wine Happy Hour
