Earth Bread + Brewery Turns Five

Earth Bread + Brewery in Mount Airy is celebrating its fifth anniversary this Wednesday night, October 9th. There will be special beer tappings, complimentary dessert and for the first fifty customers, a special anniversary mason jar mug.

It is also the fortieth anniversary of Weaver’s Way, one of the nation’s first food co-ops. In honor of that, EB+B owner Tom Baker has created a special flatbread for the week, along with a special beer made with arugula from the co-op.

Thank you so much for your support. To the folks that have been supporting us since the Heavyweight Days, to the folks that make a trip to Earth a part of their trips to the area or a part of of your pub crawl, thank you. But most of all, thank you to the wonderful people of Mt. Airy for making us feel welcomed since even before our first day open. This really is the greatest neighborhood in the city. Cheers to all of you.
