A Bootlegger’s Ball to Celebrate Prohibition Exhibit
On Thursday, October 18th, the National Constitution Center is throwing it back to the (somewhat) dry days of the 1920’s with the Bootleggers Ball to celebrate the opening of their new exhibition entitled American Spirits: The Rise and Fall of Prohibition.
Prepare to be transported back to the Roaring 20’s with a swanky speakeasy style party held in the Center’s Grand Hall Lobby. The night will be made complete with Jazz music, Lindy Hop and Charleston lessons, and some fun themed photo opps . Food and plenty of drinks will be served. To get into spirit, they’ll be serving up lots of whiskey specials as well as pre-prohibition lager. The Bootlegger’s Ball includes exclusive early access to the exhibit, so you can sip some booze while exploring the exhibit and become extremely thankful for the glass in your hand … irony in the sweetest form, and we love it.
