Manayunk Brews Up American Sardine Ale
American Sardine Bar and Manayunk Brewing Company are teaming up for a new collaborative beer, American Sardine Ale.
The beer is modeled after Russian River Redemption, a Belgian Blonde ale. The beer is being touted as an “East-Coast” Belgian blonde and weighs in at 5% alcohol by volume.
The beer gets tapped today at American Sardine and from 4 to 6 p.m., pints will be $3 and come with a complimentary sardine sandwich.
This is the second exclusive beer brewed for ASB. The first was a The Point Breeze Summer Lager Ale by Philadelphia Brewing Co. Thankfully, neither beer has incorporated sardines.
