Rosh Hashanah Dinners at London Grill, Meritage and Zahav
In honor of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish holiday which celebrates the new year, three Phialdelphia’s restaurants will be serving special menus.
London Grill will start serving their special menu on September 16th at sunset through the length of the holiday until September 18th. Chef Michael McNally’s three course fixed price menu will be $28 per person and feature courses like Matzoh ball soup, brisket, horseradish-crusted salmon, brick chicken, and family-style sides. The menu for any child 11 and younger is just $14.
From September 16th to 20th, Michael Solomonov’s Zahav will be serving a special $49 Rosh Hashana Mesibah dinner featuring hummus with chanterelles, griddled honey cake and duck three ways. Rosh Hashana Mesibah Menu (PDF).
Meritage will also be serving up a Rosh Hashanah-themed menu served after the holiday on September 18th through September 21st. This five course tasting menu will be $45 per person.

Honey Crisp Apple, endive, Pomegranate, almonds, orange, miso, honey vinaigrette
2nd Course
Chicken Consommé, petite matza balls, dill, parsnip
3rd Course
Roasted Striped Bass, beet cous cous, horseradish, preserved lemon
4th Course
Red Wine Braised Brisket, roasted carrots, onion confit, artichokes, potato garlic puree
5th Course
Spiced Honey Cake, Apricot Chutney
