Back to School Specials at Starr Restaurants
To celebrate the start of the school year some Starr Restaurants have added student specials to their menus. With student ID the specials range from free snacks and discounts off your check to a $29 three-course dinner at Pod. Frankford Hall will be running their happy hours specials from 9 p.m.- 2 a.m. for students, and on Wednesday September 12th students get a free Septa token, though they must be 21 to enter.
El Rey is offering free chips and salsa (verde and roja) August 27th to September 9th for card-carrying scholars.
Pizzeria Stella is offering a free Sgroppino (lemon sorbet, vodka, and prosecco) to all of-age students who buy a margherita pizza during the month of September.
El Vez will give students 10% off their checks between September 2nd and 14th.
Route 6 is taking off 20% from their appetizers for students with valid school ID.
Pod will be serving a special three course fixed price Back to School menu for $29 from August 29th to September 12th available only at dinner. Students can choose one item from each of the following categories for their meal:

Cauliflower robata

Teriyaki salmon
Red miso pork tenderloin
Macademia chicken stir-fry
Tofu stir-fry

Bonus: if you fill out a comment card at any Starr restaurant with “Back to School” written at the top, you will automatically be entered to win a free dinner for two. Just make sure to give your completed card to your server to be entered.
