The Bruery Pop-Up at Perch Pub
Carl Katz, Pennsylvania native and CFO of Orange County-based The Bruery, is returning to Philadelphia to celebrate beer. On Thursday August 23rd at 6pm Katz will be bringing along two very rare Bruery beers to Broad Street’s Perch Pub.
The first, Oude Tart, is a Flemish-style red ale and a two time World Beer Cup Gold Medal Winner (2010 and 2012) that is usually only available at the brewery itself. The second, Tart of Darkness, is from their Provisions Series collection and is a small-batch sour stout.
These beers are rare on the Bruery’s home turf, let alone on the East Coast, so they can get a bit pricey. But for the first hour of the event, from 6-7pm, you can get 10 oz. of one of these rarities for the Happy Hour price of $5. After that hour the price goes up to $10 per 10 oz, so drink up!
